| This is a picture of the ammo pier located just outside the Hampton River on our route. "What's that?" is by far our most frequently asked question. It is actually a parking lot of sorts, used to offload ammunitions onto barges before making port. Rarely used by the military, it is a favorite spot for fishermen and a welcome landmark to guide our navigation. | ||||||
